The solution is about the development of a robotic telesurgery system that allows to a surgeon to be able to remotely operate a patient that is assisted by his equipe in the surgical room. The configuration of the robotic telesurgery system composed by the surgeon console (master), a surgical robot (slave) and a connection between the two elements. So, surgeon can activate laser and manipulator pliers in real time from a remote site, while receiving stereoscopical video of the intervention area.
5G is essntial in order to guarantee low latency to control laser and robotic pliers, large network capacity to transfer fluidly UHD images and reliability of the data transmissions.
